by Elliman Editors

June 2018

With tens of thousands of university students and young professionals hungry for entertainment in Boston, the city offers plenty of options for live music lovers. Legendary venues and countless bars and clubs dot the city for a scene that offers the best of established acts alongside breakout up-and-comers. Elliman Insider sat with Rhett Price , violinist and Bostonian (by way of Texas) to discover his top three live music venues in Boston to enjoy an evening out on the town. Brighton Music Hall Brighton Music Hall is situated at the bustling intersection of Brighton and Harvard Avenues in the Allston neighborhood.  The venue hosts performances that range from burgeoning rock artists to stand-up comedians. “This is probably the best sounding venue in Boston,” said Price. “It can get pretty crowded but it’s well worth it to hear the eclectic mix of alternative, indie and local bands.” City Winery Part restaurant, part music venue, this North End establishment is the perfect place for dinner and a show. “I just love the vibe and intimacy of this place,” said Price. “The staff is also amazingly down to earth. It’s definitely one of the best places in Boston to enjoy a bite, a drink and live music.” Catch the violinist and songwriter here for his live show on August 4. Paradise Rock Club Nestled in Boston University’s campus on Commonwealth Avenue is Paradise Rock Club , a modest-sized venue that draws big-name performances. “What’s great about Paradise is that they get some really big, household names, but the venue is intimate enough that you’re only about 10 feet from the artist. If you’re in the mood for live music, definitely check out their upcoming performances,” recommended Price. Browse all of our Boston properties and find your new home.
