Douglas Elliman Raises Funds to Address Crisis in Ukraine

Douglas Elliman has joined the global effort to address the unfolding humanitarian crisis in Ukraine in the wake of the Russian invasion, now in its third week. As part of its philanthropic Elliman Cares initiative, the company has begun a fundraising campaign in support of the American Red Cross and pledged to match donations up to $50,000. Donations may be submitted through a landing page on the Red Cross website . “The impact of this war has reverberated around the world, and it has hit home for many of us at Elliman,” the company wrote in a message to employees announcing the campaign. “In addition to family members and friends of agents and staff who are directly affected, there are a number of Ukrainian citizens who work on several of the technology platforms that enable us to conduct our business every day.” The United Nations estimates that more than 2.1 million refugees have fled Ukraine since the invasion began February 24.
