Douglas Elliman Sponsors Pickleball for Parkinson’s Tournament Benefitting Michael J. Fox Foundation

Douglas Elliman has partnered with CityPickle and GearBox Sports to host Pickleball for Parkinson’s , a fundraising tournament on Sunday, March 17, from 4pm-6pm in Long Island City, Queens. All proceeds from the event will go to the Michael J. Fox Foundation , which funds research to develop a cure for Parkinson’s disease. Leading the way for Elliman will be Brooklyn agent Terence Degnan , who took up pickleball after he was diagnosed with early-onset Parkinson’s disease and found that it helped to manage the symptoms. Read about Terence’s story and support the Elliman team . Those who don’t want to enter as players can purchase spectator tickets, which are available for a $35 donation. Food and a signature drink will also be available. The event will begin with a demonstration of how to play the popular paddle sport with the tournament to follow. First prize is two Pro Level GearBox Paddles and bag; second prize is one Pro Level GearBox paddle.
