From premiere equestrian festivals to celebrated art shows, Douglas Elliman is gearing up for a great 2020. Here are some of our top regional events to look forward to throughout the year. Winter Equestrian Festival Wellington, Florida, January 8–March 29, 2020 Elliman is proud to sponsor the world’s premier winter equestrian event. This prestigious 12-week festival at Palm Beach International Equestrian Center includes 70 events involving 6,000 horses and thousands of riders from more than 42 countries. The unique venue comprises more than 140 acres where visitors will find boutiques, art galleries, jewelers, high-end fashion and outdoor cafes. Aspen Gay Ski Week Aspen, Colorado, January 9–18, 2020 Photo: C2 Photography More than 5,000 guests flock to the Roaring Fork Valley to support the nation’s oldest annual gay ski week, which Douglas Elliman is a proud sponsor of. Now in its 43rd year, Aspen Gay Ski Week (AGSW) includes a fabulous costume event, lots of après-ski mingling and wildly creative nightly parties. The event’s purpose is to raise money to support the nonprofit AspenOUT, which provides grants to local and national organizations and scholarships to Valley youth. Elliman Summit Uncasville, Connecticut,  March 2–4, 2020 Douglas Elliman is pleased to host its annual Elliman Summit, an exciting two-day sales and networking event. Held at Mohegan Sun, one of Connecticut’s top gaming and entertainment venues, Summit includes opportunities to catch-up on the hottest industry topics, listen to dynamic speakers and celebrate The Ellie Awards and The 2020 Wealth Report . The Hampton Classic Horse Show Bridgehampton, New York, August 23–30, 2020 The Hampton Classic, one of the largest and most anticipated outdoor horse shows in the world, returns to Bridgehampton for the 45th year at the end of August. Douglas Elliman will also be returning to the grounds for the 24th year with a branded jump in the Grand Prix Ring and as a sponsor of the $300,000 Grand Prix qualifier. The Classic includes everything you might expect from a premier horse show—world-class sport and intense competition—but also a powerful sense of community and civic-mindedness, supporting many local charities for as long as it’s been in existence. Ride for Love (God’s Love We Deliver) September 2020 Photo: David Dupuy In its seven years, Douglas Elliman’s annual Ride for Love—a charity bike ride—benefiting God’s Love We Deliver, has raised over $1,000,000 in monetary donations for the New York City-based organization. One million dollars translates to 100,000 nutritious and individually-tailored meals for people who are too sick to shop or cook for themselves. In 2019, 65 Elliman agents and staff participated in Ride for Love which ultimately concluded in Montauk. The event’s success continues to grow with each passing year as a result of support throughout the company. American Gold Cup North Salem, New York, September 8–13, 2020 Elite equestrian athletes, horse owners and fans come together at this prestigious International Show Jumping qualifying championship, held annually at historic Old Salem Farm. The Westchester countryside provides a bucolic setting for the event, which can be seen on NBC Sports. In addition to thrilling competition, visitors can enjoy family-friendly activities, shopping, and entertainment.  theamericangoldcup.com Altitude Snowmass, Colorado, October 2020 This dynamic conference at the Viceroy is designed to help Douglas Elliman agents integrate physical, mental and spiritual wellness into their home and work lives in order to thrive in today’s fast-changing business landscape. Concours D’Elegance Manhasset, New York, October 2020 Vintage and rare car enthusiasts can admire more than 200 privately owned European classic, exotic and collector automobiles at one of Long Island’s premier luxury-car events. Held at the Americana Shopping Center, the Concours D’Elegance brings in experts to judge each vehicle on display for Best in Class and Best in Show titles. Car buffs can expect to see everything from ultra-luxe Porsches and Lamborghinis to vintage Ford trucks from the 1920s. Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show Fort Lauderdale, Florida, October 28–November 1, 2020 The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is the world’s largest in-water boat show. In its 61st year, every year brings exciting additions to this boat lovers’ mecca. Last year it was Superyacht Village, a dedicated marina and on-land exhibition space for the most jaw-dropping superyachts on display, with champagne tastings, pop-up exhibits and more.
