Onetime Reebok CEO Paul Fireman has sold his home in an affluent suburb of Boston for $23 million. It is one of the priciest sales for the area and the residence sits right down the road from an estate owned by the NFL’s Tom Brady and supermodel wife Gisel Bündchen. Douglas Elliman’s Manny Sarkis , a member of The Sarkis Team representing the seller, discussed the details with The Wall Street Journal.
Manny Sarkis called the initial price of $33M an “astronomical number,” noting that the property was listed by different agents at the time. He said Mr. Fireman did not yet have another place to live in the area at the time, and threw out the number to test the market. The property later underwent several major price cuts. -WSJ
With eight bedrooms and plenty of space on 7+ acres, the property is still only 5 miles away from the center of Boston, allowing for its new occupant to have the best of both city and country living.
