A new listing in Greenwich, Conn., marks a new high for the market.
Douglas Elliman agent Jennifer Leahy , founder of The Jennifer Leahy Team , has just listed a Georgian Colonial-style mansion at 545 Indian Field Road for $49,500,000, the most expensive active listing in Greenwich.
The record listing comes after Leahy’s monumental sale of Great Island in Darien , which closed at $85,000,000 as the second-most-expensive property sold in Connecticut and the seventh-most-expensive property sold across the US in 2023.
Built in 2014 on 1.6 acres within the guard-gated enclave of Mead Point Association, the stately residence is located on the Long Island Sound.
“This home draws inspiration from both the past and present,” Leahy said. “The timeless architecture is complemented by meticulously selected finishes to create a truly one-of-a-kind living experience.”

Inside, the double-height great room showcases hardwood floors and wide windows that offer direct views of the Long Island Sound. The spacious and multifunctional kitchen features top-of-the-line stainless-steel appliances, including a generous French door refrigerator.
The 12,500-square-foot home includes six bedrooms, six full bathrooms, and two half-bathrooms. The primary suite features a seating area, spa-like bathroom, sauna, dual dressing rooms and an oversized balcony that overlooks the grounds.
Sizeable outdoor patios, a barbecue and swimming pool overlook the water, where a private dock and beach-entry launch allow easy access for boating, kayaking and paddle boarding.
The property is fewer than two miles from downtown Greenwich and a 35-mile drive to Midtown Manhattan.
