Now, its interiors have been designed by Brooklyn- and Hudson Valley-based firm Workstead , which also designed a special lighting line, the Park Collection , concurrently with the building interiors. In the kitchens, Workstead custom designed nearly everything: “All of the cabinet poles, handles, and millwork were specifically made for this project—even down to the little porcelain knobs,” Mahoney says. The countertops and backsplash are of honed Estremoz marble, and the front and side of the island are of Calacatta Vagli marble. Appliances include a Sub-Zero refrigerator and freezer and Wolf gas range, wall oven, steam oven, and warming drawers.
