REEA Names Elliman’s Jeffrey Scott Stanton the 2022 Educator of the Year

Jeffrey Scott Stanton , Senior Vice President of Learning & Development for Douglas Elliman, has been named the 2022 Educator of the Year by the Real Estate Educators Association . The prestigious award recognizes the individual who has made the single greatest contribution in the field of real estate education, taking into consideration the individual’s positive impact on students, consumers and the real estate education profession.

An active member of mortgage and real estate fields for more than 25 years, Dr. Stanton has been a top loan originator, top real estate agent, branch manager, recruiter and corporate trainer. He has instructed, mentored, motivated and helped to market over 150,000 professionals.

In addition to overseeing the curriculum at Douglas Elliman’s state-of-the-art training facility, Dr. Stanton is an instructor at Richmond County Real Estate Institute of the Staten Island Board Of Realtors (SIBOR.com) and is the founder and lead instructor at Your Professional Development with offices in New York and California.

Dr. Stanton attended Columbia University where he received his Master’s in Education, and the American Institute of Hypnotherapy where he received his Doctorate in Clinical Hypnotherapy (DCH). Through his affiliation with The Institute for Neuro-Linguistic, Psychological & Therapeutic Studies he has performed numerous scientific studies and research on the topics of persuasion, influence, body language, negotiations, the science of communicating and the psychology of sales.
