As one of Miami’s leading lights in luxury real estate, Douglas Elliman Executive Director of Sales Dina Goldentayer enjoys an understanding of the Miracle City’s appeal that few can rival. She has racked up an astonishing $2 billion+ in sales and sometimes finds herself juggling up to 15 appointments a day. Still, she strives for a balanced life and quality time with her two children and her husband, restaurateur and caviar importer Ilya Panchernikov. Below, Goldentayer shares her go-to spots for unwinding.
Dina Goldentayer
Favorite neighborhoods: Goldentayer and her husband own three houses on The Venetian Islands , an enclave of waterfront homes with spectacular views of Biscayne Bay and the Miami skyline. She praises the neighborhood’s active vibe and often treats clients to a tour of it in her golf cart. Nearby Sunset Harbour “is filled with cool restaurants and shops. It’s a favorite among locals, which means it’s not touristic.” Also connected to Sunset Harbour are the Sunset Islands , where Goldentayer often sells homes. “Real estate values on both the Venetian Islands and Sunset Islands have boomed because they’re so convenient to Sunset Harbour.”

Other desirable neighborhoods include Star Island (“home to countless celebrities through the years”) and “billionaires’ hideaway” Indian Creek Island .
Favorite shop: Known for her #StepInsideWithMe video segments showcasing her top listings on social media, Goldentayer understands the importance of dressing for success. “You can’t wear the same outfit twice for Instagram, so I buy a lot of structured Victoria Beckham suits at Beach Boutique in Sunset Harbour. It’s kind of hidden, but it carries a high level of designers.”
Favorite eateries: Neighborhood gem Sardinia Enoteca Ristorante has served tasty rustic Southern Italian fare for almost 20 years. “Don’t miss the calamari.”
Looking for a buzzy newcomer? The winner is Casadonna in Edgewater , another choice neighborhood of Goldentayer and her clients. The first collaboration between Groot Hospitality and Tao Group Hospitality, the restaurant is housed in a Mediterranean Revival landmark overlooking Biscayne Bay and offers a menu featuring coastal Italian cuisine and bespoke cocktails.
Edgewater is also home to such exciting new- construction buildings as Edition Residences, Miami Edgewater , the world’s only private Edition residences, and Villa Miami , which features full-floor villas.
Favorite interior design store: Goldentayer finds Artefacto an excellent source for high-end, handmade contemporary home furnishings and accessories.

Favorite cocktail: Head to The Standard Spa, Miami Beach on the Venetian Islands for an Aperol spritz at the Lido Bayside Grill , “the perfect spot to watch the sun set.”
Favorite cultural attraction: The Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) is known for its modern art, “but I also love that it provides a kid-friendly outdoor park.”
