Neighborhood Guide

GREENPOINT

Located along the G line, Greenpoint offers charming family-friendly streets and appealing housing stock (think row homes and comfortably converted warehouses) that peacefully coexist with indie boutiques and some of the best independent cafΘs in New York. A growing number of artists and families have discovered Greenpoint, happily partaking in the Michelin dining that coexists with the traditional Polish and Irish restaurants and coffee shops run by longtime residents. A developing waterfront provides fantastic views of Midtown as well as easy access to the ferry. A Manhattan subway commute involves at least one connection, but it's a small price to pay to live in this gem of a neighborhood.
