NORTHPORT

The charming, New England–style village of Northport is perhaps best known for its harbor-front park, where residents gather for summer concerts and arts festivals, and boaters tie up at the pier in season. The village’s thriving arts scene includes the professional John W. Engeman Theater, as well as a symphony orchestra, community theater, and a number of art galleries, which share the walkable downtown with boutiques, ice cream parlors, cafés, restaurants, and a microbrewery. Northport is also home to several beaches, three golf courses, and even a winery, Del Vino Vineyards, which opened in 2018 to much fanfare. A boutique hotel with 24 rooms and a restaurant is under construction downtown.
