Born and raised on Long Island, Scott has witnessed the tremendous change and growth that’s transformed the North Fork into one of the East End’s most sought-after destinations. Scott used to come to the North Fork every summer with his family since 1969 and decided to move here full time in the town of Southold. He understands the numerous intangible benefits of life on the East End with its unmatched weather, culture, and diversity.
Scott Bennett is very active in the community and he was a former trustee on the board of Eastern Long Island Hospital, and former Chairman of the ELIH Foundation, which raised $10 million for the hospital during his years of service. As a child, he learned about the true meaning of giving back to the local community from his grandfather, Willie Cohen, who was a founder of North Shore University Hospital, now known as Northwell, and now, Scott gets to continue that legacy inspired by his grandfather to follow the path and sustain great healthcare on the North Fork. “Scott’s participation as a longtime resident of the area enables him to leverage his energy and enthusiasm, enhancing his client dedication and insuring satisfied repeat clients and referrals in his real estate endeavors.”
