About Katherine

Born and raised in East Hampton, Katherine Casey embodies the spirit, sophistication, and serenity of the East End. Her family has called The Hamptons home for four generations and her deep seated roots in the community provide her with the reach, resources, and relationships to properly navigate all the unique demands that come with real estate in the Hamptons.

Katie has spent her entire life immersed in the industry. Her father, who worked as the building inspector for the Town of East Hampton for over 20 years, also owned and operated a successful construction company responsible for 100+ east end builds. Her grandfather is an accomplished architect who designed 70+ high-end properties throughout the Hamptons. Her grandmother is a property developer and local real estate attorney who has been involved in hundreds of real estate related transactions. Being surrounded by such a wealth of knowledge has imparted upon Katie a wide range of expertise and access that only personal experience can provide.

A graduate of the University of Southern California with a bachelor’s degree in film, Katie officially entered into real estate working as the Marketing Coordinator for Douglas Elliman Hamptons division for 2 years before becoming a practicing licensed agent. Working in the marketing department gave Katie an in-depth understanding of the intricacies involved in successfully marketing properties and she has utilized those skills to help develop her flourishing real estate career.

Katie was raised with an inherent respect for the Hamptons and she looks to honor its history and celebrate it’s one of a kind community in everything she does. No matter the demand Katie will always remain committed to working with a limited number of clients. Katie has an innate ability to make everyone she works with feel like family and provides each client with her full attention and resources throughout the transactional process. She has dedicated her life to her real estate career and exhibits a level of passion and pride that has no parallel. Katie lives in Wainscott with her husband, Miles, and her rescue pup Kola and English Bulldog Ziggy.
